Unfortunately for me, this turned out to be a big fat lie. I used Norton for several months on my computer. It ran regular scans and virus database updates and consistently returned clean scan results.

At one point my computer started running quite slow and I suspected that something may be wrong. I then downloaded a couple of free Malware removers, MalwareBytes and SuperAnti Spyware, which found some spyware and cookies on my system, but these were not the types of malware that would cause the freeze ups and Internet surfing problems that I was experiencing.
